Hop the Void is a Frogger-meets-Crossy-Road hopper you can play free in your browser, no download required. Guide a brave neon duckling forward across an endless ribbon of busy highways, drifting rivers and fast maglev rails. Unlike an auto-runner, you decide exactly when to hop — one grid cell at a time — so every move is a deliberate read of the traffic. Time the gaps between cars, leap onto drifting lily-pads to cross deadly water (and hop off before a pad carries you off the edge), and dash over the rails while the train telegraphs its sweep with a flashing warning. You can't just camp in a safe spot, either: a rising tide creeps up the screen from behind and surges faster if you dawdle, drowning you if it catches up — so you're always nudged gently forward. Your distance is your score, saved as a personal best, and the terrain escalates the further you get. Grab coins along the way and bank them in the Outfitter for permanent upgrades that actually change your next run — a one-time revive, extra slow-mo charges, a wider coin magnet, a running head start, a smaller car hitbox and a distance-score boost. Instantly familiar, endlessly replayable, and perfect for a quick high-score chase.
